Free Party Wall Notice Templates

Collier Stevens Chartered Surveyors are a surveyor in Folkestone, a party wall surveyor in Kent and property surveyor in London.

We’ve put some party wall notice templates that you can download for free here, each template is a Word document (.docx) that you can edit and print, but before completing these, please take a look at our Party Wall Procedure Flowchart.

You may need to use one or more of these templates depending upon your project.

You will still need a surveyor to complete the process if your neighbour does not agree. These notices are not the final agreement. You will need one of those professionally prepared if your neighbours object to your work. Remember, any error at this stage will invalidate the whole process and you will have to start again. This may mean suspending your building works while you sort it out.

Our templates are partially pre-filled with our details. If you are from outside of London and the South East you will need a local surveyor. You can still use these templates, just replace the details accordingly. It will not invalidate the notice.

If you’re a property professional, why not give us a call and see if we can help you out. We work alongside architects, surveyors, lawyers and developers and our PI covers us for party wall matters and yours might not.

Looking for a party wall agreement template?

There is no such thing as a free party wall agreement template. A party wall agreement (properly called a Party Wall Award) is a legal document prepared by an appointed surveyor and tailored to your specific works. It cannot be filled in from a template.

What you can serve yourself is a party wall notice, and the templates above are exactly that. If your neighbour consents in writing, you don’t need an award at all. If they dissent, that’s the point you’ll need a surveyor.
